Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district is a district in the Indian state of Telangana. The administrative headquarters is located at Bhongir. It was a part of the Nalgonda district before the re-organisation of districts in the state. The district shares boundaries with Suryapet, Nalgonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Medchal, Rangareddy districts.
Bhuvanagiri is a town and District Headquarter of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district of the Indian state of Telangana. It comes under Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority, located on National Highway 163.

The district is spread over an area of 3,091.48 square kilometres (1,193.63 sq mi).

The municipal area covers 9.63 km². As of 2011 India census, Bhongir had a population of 53,339. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Bhongir has an average literacy rate of 70%, less than the national average of 74.04%; with male literacy of 78% and female literacy of 61%. 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Bhongir as a Lok Sabha constituency came into existence in 2008 as per Delimitation Act of 2002. Pailla Shekar Reddy is the present MLA.
