By accessing or using AskGif ("the Service"), located at AskGif, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

AskGif is a bilingual (English and Hindi) content platform providing:

• GIF discovery, sharing, and captioning
• Movie and TV show information, ratings, and reviews
• Company reviews, salary data, and work culture information
• Editorial blogs and articles
• Interactive games (CineGuessr, Caption Battle)

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, post, or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or obscene
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Distribute spam, malware, or any other malicious code
• Scrape, crawl, or index the Service without our prior written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

By submitting content (captions, comments, reviews) to the Service, you grant AskGif a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.

You represent that you own or have the right to submit all content you post, and that your content does not violate any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable at our sole discretion.

The AskGif name, logo, website design, and original content are owned by AskGif and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Movie and TV data is sourced from TMDB and OMDB. Company data is aggregated from publicly available sources. GIF content rights remain with their respective creators.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from AskGif's proprietary content without our express written permission.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or display content from third-party sources (TMDB, OMDB, company data providers). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AskGif shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or ₹1,000 if you have not made any payments).

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
