Lai Haraoba

The Kakching Haraoba festival is one of six Lai Haraoba in the state of Manipur. Under the leadership of Moirangthem Lairenjao Meitei, the United Pentecost Church was established, which was the first church in Kakching. It is situated near the Library and Information Centre. Lairenjoa Meitei served as an evangelist for 65 years until his death on 20 February 2007.
