Baked Potato Fries Recipe for Kids and Toddler

Most of the kids love french fries, maha is no exception. She loves it so much. But since it is deep fried I kind of stay away from it, finally I made this baked version. It is so easy to make and turns out crunchy too.

This is a thin version of french fries which needs no parboiling. I will soon share a thicker version. So keep checking it.

Preparation Time: 10 mins

Baking Time: 15 to 20 mins

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

Potato – 1 large

Oil – 1 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Method:

Preheat oven to 200 degrees C.

Wash and peel a potato, cut it into thin strips and wash it in lots of water. Now drain off the water and let it drain for 5 mins or so.

Now dry it with a paper towel.

Line a baking tray with foil. Place potatoes in it and drizzle oil over it. Now coat it well with oil.

Arrange the potatoes in a single layer and pop it in the oven. Bake for 15 to 20 mins.

Now remove it and scoop the potatoes in a bowl. sprinkle with salt and toss well.

Serve hot.
