Here I have used carrot juice, you can add beetroot juice in this too. I hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you.

Ingredients:
Carrot Juice – 1 cup (juice from 3 carrots)
Roasted Rice Flour or Idiyappam Flour – 3/4 cup
Salt to taste
Ghee – 1 teaspoon
Method:
Peel and chop carrots, take it in a blender, add little water and make it into a smooth puree. Strain it and extract 1 cup of carrot juice.
Mix rice flour with salt and set aside.
Take carrot juice in a pan, bring it to a boil. Add in rice flour slowly and mix till it forms into a dough.
Now add in ghee and make it into a dough.
Take it in idiyappam press, squeeze it in a greased steamer plate. Steam this for 3 to 4 mins.
Now remove it and cool it, Separate it and serve.
